While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has not been maintained for what is a reasonable amount of time, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:

Also known as the Michigan Geocaching Organization 2003 Winter Social Raffle Cache! (original container has since been replaced...sorry)

Located just a few feet from the McCormick Lake Public access site. This is an awesome lake for fishing, or by our personal experience, kayaking. On 9/10/05, we made the cache an ammo can. The original cache container was won in the MIGO Winter Social Raffle in Mt Pleasant this past February. It iwas a special containter handcrafted by Doc Ott. It lasted about 2 years before being muggled.
