Geocache Description:

Located close to where the likeness of Lincoln once rested. It is not in the foundation.

Cache is an easy one. I wanted to make a cache near the highway so folks travelling through could take a few minutes to check it out and rest from the drive.

The Cache is titled the Historic Lincoln Highway Cache. When you find it you will know the historic significance.

From I-80 take exit 323. From the East turn left when you get off the interstate. From the West you would turn right. You want to turn AWAY from the rest area and drive the highway that goes west and up the hill. You are driving on a part of the original Lincoln highway. At the top of the hill you will find a parking pull out area on the left side of the road. This is a good place to park when seeking the cache. Cache is a plastic container and hidden under a pile of rocks. Please only remove the top rock when removing the cache.
