This is the 6th year I've been to the Sea Otter Classic and the second time I've been here as a geocacher. Besides that I usually ride my bike here 5 or 6 times a year. It's a great place to ride.
The easiest way to get to this cache is to bike in from Laguna Seca, it's a 3 mile coast if you take the right road in. Getting back out is another thing entirely.
There are other ways to get into the area since Fort Ord has multiple entry points. There harder ways are probably the most scenic so make your choice.
The cache should be easy to find once there.
