Geocache Description:

A hike to remember in a very unique spot.

Start your journey by parking at this location: N42°36.525' W78°54.116' on Larkin Rd. This is where you will be entering 'Franklin Gulf Park', an undeveloped park managed by the Erie County Parks and Recreation Dept.

The easiest way to the cache is to hike the gorge forming the bed of the cascade. It makes for a beautiful and enjoyable trek. Enter the gorge about a third of the way to the cache on the left of the trail.

If you want a bit more of a challenge, you can follow the trail all the way down to 'Franklin Gulf' and hike back up the creek bed. Do not take a straight line to the cache as it will be trouble even for the most experienced hikers.

The cache is a .30 cal ammo can. It currently contains a log book, a small coin (please do not take it) and a few trade items.

To log the cache, you will need to sign the logbook and you will need to email me with the answer to this question: 'what is the value of the coin?'.

The cache is winter-accessible.

Please put the cache back -EXACTLY- where and -HOW- you found it. Under no circumstances should it be exposed.
