Geocache Description:

Cache is a plastic container with a log, pencil, and many FOUND marbles! Parking coordinates N 43d 03.935 W076d 28.437

This cache is dedicated to all those geocachers who have, ever-so-lovingly, been asked by friends and family "HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MARBLES?" Well I've been finding these all over cache sites for the last 9 months...so I guess the answer is YES! The good news is... you can stop by and retrieve some of yours that you lost! NO TRADES NECESSARY...we all need to keep whatever marbles we have left!

On a more serious note: This cache is located in the beautiful Canal Park of Jordan, NY. The cache is hidden in a natural crevice...NO MATERIALS HAVE TO BE MOVED OR REMOVED to access your marbles {EXCEPT 1 ROCK WITH A PIECE OF CAMO DUCT TAPE on it.} As responsible geocachers let's make sure we leave the site exactly as we found it. Removing litter and debris, on the other hand, would serve the park well. Thanks!

The picture above is what the site looks like today. To see what it looked like it back in days when it was still an active canal, just click on the picture.

Also, there is a neat program that combines songs, historic information, post cards, panoramic photos, maps, and community profiles to create a comprehensive multimedia package about the canal and its national impact.
