Haunted Cider House Falls Letterbox Hybrid
Team Kuebbing: Apologies to all who were unable to find this cache. It has gone missing. If the Army see's fit to keep me at Fort Drum another year I will replace it. If my orders to Germany are not deleted I hope another Geocacher will place a cache here as it's too scenic not to be part of geocaching.

This cache was originally placed soley because of the location. It was all about the scenery. Within the last 6 months we learned that the cider house is haunted.
I stumbled across a photo of a beautiful frozen waterfall in a small shop outside of Ft. Drum and searched until I found it. Well worth the hunt. The original cache was placed against the bridge but was lost when the bridge had construction work done on it. I have hidden a new cache not more than a few hundred feet from where the old one once sat. This cache is winter accessible and does not require a steep descent or any climbing like the one before it.
It's an ammo can that contains the usual. The view is what makes the journey memorable but if you visit when the mill is open you can enjoy some delicious treats and learn the story of the haunting from the owners who are also geocachers.
