You must access the trail head at N40 26.242 W80 04.584. You can't get there from here if you don't. Park either in Crafton Park off of Rt 60/Steuben St, or across the street at the top of the hill near the trail head (watch it's a one-way street). The trail meanders along Chartiers Creek until near the cache where you will need to do some bushwacking. My son wanted to name it Look Out Below because of the cliffs you will see on the way. This is definitely a cache in trash out site. People over the years have thrown many an object over the cliffs. The cache is further down the trail away from the cliffs. Growing up in the area we called them the Indian Cliffs because it was believed native indians lived along them.
The cache is a clear plastic container. There is a camera there to take your picture if you please.
April 10, 2004 update: The cache is still in the same location but I reduced the difficulty rating. Over the past summer work was done on the trail area to lay new drainage pipes. As a result, the trail has become more of a road as heavy equipment was brought in to lay the new pipe. Hopefully, as the vegetation grows back in it will return to a more pristine condition.
