Geocache Description:

Cache is in an ammo box off a well-maintained trail through old woods on Evansville’s north side.

Iglehart Park is located next to Lloyd Pool on Evansville’s north side, just off First Ave. There are some fairly large trees along the trails. The cache is about .15 miles from the parking lot. I’ve given the difficulty a 1.5 due to the young poison ivy plants I noticed as I came back from the cache site. I don’t think they’ll stay small and tender for long. The trail we took is blocked at one point by a fallen tree. Follow the orange markers on the trees, then your GPSR the rest of the way – it’s not much farther. The cache contains pleasing trinkets for all ages.

Young children might enjoy the elaborate playground equipment recently installed near the trailhead.

We hope you enjoy the park.
