Take a friend with you on your search, which is what this place is
all about. You can thank the people in the neighborhood for this
great little park. Some of them got together years ago and put this
one together. I know this is not a concern for any of us, but
please do anything you can to keep this place as clean as possible.
This is a garden path to understanding.
Parking is very
limited at N 21* 24.339, W 157*46.621. From the stone cylinder you
will see a small building to your right. Under the building you may
find a map of the area.
Getting to where you need to be may be a little work, but it not
as bad as it looks. Stay on the trail and in the groove. I think it
only took me 15 minutes to get back to my car after placing the
cache. You will only need to go off the trail by a few feet to find
the cache.
The Gorge of Death? A few of you have e-mailed me questioning my
ability to rate the terrain of a hike.
Note: I went to visit Friends today to see the family of bees
myself. Yep they have moved into a pole right on the trail. They
all were too busy working to notice us. Stay clear of the poles and
let them go about their work and you should be fine. "Cache in
Trash out"
Like so many others, the bees are gone.
Note:For those of you that are participating in the race, email me
before you go looking for this cache, give me the name of you entry
and I will email you the coordinates of the finish line.
