I debated on the rating because there is a VERY short hand and foot scramble involved to get through a little cliffy area if you take the main trail. It's really not bad.
The container is a 2 inch deep X 6 1/2 inch diameter red candy tin. Packaged CDs won't fit. A lot of locals visit this area, so although I put the cache out of the way and it's well hidden, I also tried to pick an area without dozens of possible hiding areas. This is my first cache, so you'll have to let me know how I did.
Contents: Ultimate Trail Mapper UTM grid, crescent wrench keychain, turtle pin, Poke mon cards, pair of climbing carabiners, 'Stinger' scorpion beanie babie, and last but definitely not least, a glass vial containing a half dozen small gold nuggets. Yes, they are real, I found them myself. If you want the gold, you better hurry. I happen to know that Team Havasu are prospectors...
Keep an eye out for the giant rock lizard. Bonus points for spotting and describing this beast. (The lizard is the creation of the Leaping Lizards hiking club of Lake Havasu City.)
If you go during nice weather, pack a picnic lunch. The picnic table is already there. Honest! You can see it from the road.
