You can hike or mountain bike the 1.3 miles to visit this cache, or if you have a canoe/kayak, a very pleasant paddle can bring you within a very short walk to this cache site.
No matter your method of travel, you'll have great views on this trek. Bring binoculars to better enjoy the many osprey nests and other wildlife you'll see. This cache is all about the journey--enjoy!
The cache is a clear plastic jar with a black lid. Original contents include:
- bandana embroidered with name of cache
- packets of wildflower seeds
- carved wooden kayak (hopefully a memento for someone who paddles to this cache)
- wind-up bunny
- log book and camera
