This cache is located along a nature trail in Van Buren State Park in Hancock County. The entrance to this area is off TWP 229 and is marked as the Group Camping Area.This a dirt road so after a big rain or in winter, I'm not sure how passable it will be.
This is our second cache in this area. The trail begins at the end of the camping area and winds through the woods, along the lake and over a couple of footbridges across some ravines. The path is marked as Pine Glen Loop Nature Trail. The loop is .5 miles long. It’s really quite a nice area, lots of hiking, picnicking, fishing, and camping spots. Hope you enjoy the walk in this scenic little park.
