Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the grounds of the REST STOP / RECREATION AREA just a ways north of Opelousas on I49. Its a well traveled North / South route and a great place to trade out your bugs. YOU MUST LEAVE A BUG TO TAKE A BUG, otherwise trade out one of the other items. Keep the bugs swappin around and safe

The original contents of this cache are various trinkets, log book, pen, geo letter, and 2 travel bugs. It was originally placed near the site of the long gone RED BEANS AND RICE cache, but the Geo gods refused their blessing on that location and I had to move it. I hope it is here to stay for a while. Its well hidden from accidental discovery but will be easy to find. At the request of some crybabies out there I am adding that this cache is in the woods a short ways. This comes with all the warnings that a South Louisiana woods cache could have, briars, spiders, snakes, and small critters. This is the oldest surviving cache in the parish and not for those who are looking for a snatch and grab. In other words: This walk in the park is no walk in the park! Pansies should avoid this one. For all you hardcore woods cachers, you should love it.
