A short historical tour of buildings that survived the earthquake of 1892 that leveled most of the buildings West of Sacramento.
At the first location, look around to find out what the building was originally, and what it had become before its' present incarnation as a restaurant (entrance not required). From there, proceed to N 38° 31.298 W 121° 58.170. At the second location, make note of the business in 1892, and how it affected the local community.
Do NOT post any photos or spoilers on the cache page; to log this virtual multi-cache, you must e-mail me with the following information:
1. At the first location, what was the name of the original business, and
2. the name of the intermediate business?
3. What is the name of the building at the second location?
4. What was their business in 1892?
5. Who was the town's only fatality during the 1892 earthquake?
6. How was he killed?
Happy Trails!
