Park on the side road and cut through the trees.
Even though the Dave Blue trading post is not here, the historical marker for it is. Dave it appears had the Cherokee and Creek indians kill buffalos' for their hides which he sold in Atoka to be sent back east. This was in the 1870's back when there was still some buffs around here! But keeping in the sprit of a trading post, we have a cache you can trade with. It contains a 12ft tape measure, bandaids, hooded emergency poncho, compass, a pocket knife, and a few trinkets for the kiddos. This cache is easy to get but you can bone up on a little local history and take a short drive out into the country. If you look almost directly north at the fence there is a concrete post about a foot tall pointed with the letters rv on it some sort of old boundary marker.
