A nice walk on a paved path. Veterans View reborn.
Significantly easier now that clues have been added it should be a nice stroll.
All coords along path are decimals only:
Example: 42 52.975 would be written as 975.
And watch between stages 2 and 3 to drop a minute in your coords from 37 to 36!
Welcome to the poem, I'm so glad you came.
Wear you walking shoes for its' a two mile game.
And while you mosey along, keep an eye on the signs
For a common mph number needed at the end of these lines.
Another thing that you must always keep in your mind
Since the clues are quite close, decimals only you'll find.
So always follow the poem, just as I did.
Now begin your trek with the flip of a small lid. (Stage 1)
The numbers you see lead you on down the trail
If you look to the left you can smile at the mail!
The next spots up ahead but no GPS at this meet
When you arrive just look up, its under your feet! (Stage 2)
Now we're moving along at quite a good clip
Oh! Just drop a minute west to continue this trip.
And don't leave the trail, ahead is just fine
Plus the clue here is that a poem should rhyme. (Stage 3)
Good find! Keep going, you are doing great!
But no numbers are next so don't search here too late.
The clue,a 6 lettered word for the object on which you stand
A-1 should help you with the lay of this land. (Stage 4)
Begin with the fourth letter; tack a zero to this;
The first letter, fifth, sixth, sixth and you cannot miss.
Head back as you came and since your eye sees
Look back in the woods for a Jay in the trees. (Stage 5)
He’s sitting on two numbers that you certainly need
So listen to him, but don't treat him with seed.
And remember those letters from the last clue?
I hope you've still got them 'cause you'll need them here too.
Start with one more than the last clues first letter
Then attach to the right Jay's first number, and again even better.
Jay's second begins the numbers to the west
One less than the fourth letter then Jay’s first one is best!
Now you are quite close but beginning to tire
But I can't make the beginning of this poem a liar.
So take the very last numbers that you just got,
Subtract the mph from both and you'll be in the right spot! (Stage 6 and final location)
If you search and you search here but you can not find,
Use this final clue; "Its the ties that bind".
Thanx for taking the time to search out my cache
And if your environmentally minded just hike out some trash.
