In general the hike or bike trail is easy. The terrain is rated a 2 because there is some slight hill climbing involved at the end. The best way to get there is to park at N 38 56.135' W 095 18.627'
P.S. I got a couple ticks on me when placing the cache. Try to wear some OFF or other repellent. They are large ticks, not seed ticks if that is any consolation.
The hike is .91 miles long and is on a concrete path. The last part will require some slight climbing off the path. Mud could be an issue also but not too bad. I hid it when it was wet and I had my off-road cycling shoes on. Let the frogs serenade you as you explore! Around the cache is a nice view of Clinton Dam and some of the reservoir. You can also see the hills surrounding the south part of Lawrence and the Wakarusa Basin.
