TeamGarmin: On behalf of TeamGarmin we regret to inform you that the cache (Quit Buggin me Sanders) (GCG0KP) was stolen between 4/27/03 and 4/28/03. I felt the cache was hidden in a very secluded place, but evidently someone found it and rather than leaving the cache be did otherwise with it.
We initially hid the cache in Sanders Park, Town of Mt. Pleasant, County of Racine, State of Wisconsin but learned from a fellow geocacher that the park was a DNR sanction and caches were not allowed there. I took the liberty of moving the cache immediately to Petrified Springs Park, Town of Somers, County of Kenosha, State of Wisconsin. That was I could active it on the same day with the new coordinates. It was hidden in a rather wooded area with alot of overgrowth near a river. Unfortunately when I received a report from another fellow geocacher that they had looked for 2 hours but to no avail, I decided to check its status. When I arrived to the location in which I hid the cache, there were empty soda cups and an empty pack of cigarettes. Needless to say the area had alot of trash from the previous few days. I could not locate the cache. It have probably been stolen.
I will continue to head back to the area to see if has been returned on a regular basis.
