Geocache Description:

Fairly easy to get to with a high clearance vehicle.

This cache is located along the Pony Express trail and was used both as a Pony Stop and then later as a Stage Stop on the Overland Trail. Rock ruins are about all the remains of Hooten Wells. The cache is in an ammo can.
