Geocache Description:

This lookout is a place that I could go and sit for hours just watching and listening to nature at its finest. What a view of the Smoky Hill River winding its way toward Kanopolis Lake. Wildlife, farming or just sight-seeing, this is it.

This cache is off of 25th Road and I would not recommend going down 25th Road after a heavy rain. This is in the public hunting area so be aware of the various hunting seasons. The area between the 1st & 2nd cattle guards on 25th Road is private land but the land between the 2nd & 3rd cattle guards is public hunting and is pasture ground, so park in this area. You will need to cross a barbed wire fence if you go in the closest route. This cache is very close to one of the newer horse riding trails. Relax and take your time on this one and watch out for any snakes that could be in the area. Several years ago, I harvested a white-tail deer just about 400 yards to the south across the oak tree canyon from the cache. I promise that you will want to sit down and enjoy this one.

Original cache is in a green ammo can and contains:
Geocache welcome letter
Animal print Log Book w/pen & pencil
Glow in the Dark Kaleidoscope, Smile Face Yo-Yo, Rock Bouncing Ball, Hematite Dolphin Necklace, $100 bill key chain, Wooden Baseball Bat ink pen, Smile Face Porcupine Ball, Mini Whoopee Cushion, USA Flag Gemstone dog tag necklace, USA Flag Gemstone star necklace, Patriotic Glider Plane, Mini laser playing card key chain, Metal tool key chain and a Water Ball Splasher.
