Log Cabin Neighbor Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache is located next to a neat little pool of water that is fed by a spring branch. Check out the exposed rock out-cropping above the pool of water. Really a nice view of the log cabin from the cache. Please tread lightly and don't tear up the moss that covers a lot of the ground and rocks.
You will want to cross the fence and approach this one from the southwest so you can stay south of the spring branch. There is tree cover so take your time and let your GPS work for you. Anyone could enjoy sitting on the moss covered rocks, reading a book or just relaxing. I think that you will appreciate the beauty and quietness of this little hole in nature. Can you imagine living in the log cabin above? What a sweet way of life.
This is on public hunting ground pasture so be aware of the various hunting seasons. While I was placing this cache in its burrow, a deer stood up about 75 yards from me towards the log cabin. I don't think that it appreciated my cell phone ringing. I got deer snorted & white flagged for being there. This is off of 25th Road and I would not recommend going down 25th Road after a heavy rain.
Original cache is a green ammo can with:
Geocache welcome sheet, Animal Print Log Book w/pen & pencil,
Glow in the Dark Kaleidoscope, smile face yo-yo, rock bouncing ball, Hematite Dolphin necklace, animal print dog tag necklace, $100 bill key chain, wooden baseball bat ink pen, smile face porcupine ball, mini whoopee cushion, USA Flag Gemstone dog tag necklace, USA Flag Gemstone star necklace, patriotic glider lane, mini laser playing card key chain, metal tool key chain and a water ball splasher.
