Geocache Description:

This cache is located just outside the delightful Bedfordshire village of Toddington. To find the cache you must first gather information from around the village green that will provide you with the co-ordinates needed to locate it.

The village of Toddington is almost a small town. For nearly eight hundred years the magnificent 13th century parish church of St George of England has overlooked and dominated the village green. Its rare three-storeyed parvise was originally used as a chapel and living quarters for the parish priest. On occasions the church tower open’s to the public where it’s possible to climb the spiral staircase to visit the bell chamber and viewing area, where a fantastic view of the Bedfordshire countryside can be found.

Toddington and particular Toddington Manor is famed for being visited by Queen Elizabeth I in 1563 and James I in 1608.

The main coordinate will lead to a point on the village green. All clues can be found within a hundred feet of this location. Parking is available around the green but please observe any parking restrictions.
