A fairly easy hike through through the woods with a bench overlooking a pond near the end
Go into Monument, CO and use 2nd Street to get across the RR tracks going West. Take Mitchell South then Mt. Herman Road West. Park at the trailhead for Mt. Herman Park (N39 04.982, W104 53.253). Walk West, keeping generally to the North. It's something like 1 1/4 mile from there. You can shorten the walk by driving 3/4 mile further to the entrance of the Monument Fire Center but there is only a little parking space across the road. If you drive further, to just North of the cache coordinates, there is a little pull-off space that makes it a short hike but beware the steep, slippery slope. The cache is a small ammo box which started out with small toys.
