Starting point is at Washington Park, overlooking Warren, Pa. Short (1/8 mile) uphill climb to cache from parking lot.
This hilltop park has a great view of Warren and the Allegheny River, and plenty of tables and grills for a cookout. Cache is a short (1/8 mile) hike from the parking area. (When the trail forks, take the LEFT fork. There is posted private property on the right)
Take Rt. 62 to N. Warren and turn on to Follet Run Rd. Make a left on to Liberty near the top of the mountain. The turn off into Washington Park is clearly marked on your right after a couple of miles. Do NOT try this in snow without a 4 wheel drive. (It is also possible to reach the park via Liberty St. in downtown Warren, and by taking Rt. 6 to Preston Rd. and turning RIGHT at the top of the mountain.)
