Geocache Description:

Be sure to plan this cache for a clear day. The view is absolutely spectacular. You will want to spend time just soaking it all in.

To get there, drive to Eaton on Route 153. Turn east on Brownfield Rd. along the beach of Crystal Lake. At about 1.5 miles, turn right on Bull Pasture Rd. In 1 mile this Ts onto Stewart Rd., turn right. You will eventually swing left onto Foss Mt. Rd. Check out the llama/alpaca farm on the left.

Winter Parking is at: 43.53.709, 71.02.761. I prefer to park here at all times of year for two reasons: one, I go for the exercise as well as the view, and two, the dirt road to the summer parking (3-4 cars max) is steep and narrow and scares me. When I set the cache up at the end of April, this dirt road was still closed: big sign and blockade. So, if you want to drive up, you will need to wait awhile. The summer parking is just over one mile from the winter parking at N43.53.093 W071.02.268.

Please use the trail to get to the top of the ridge. The Foss Mt. Trail starts at the summer parking lot. Foss Mt. has long been a commercial blueberry field, with a portion of the sale going to the town of Eaton. So, you are not allowed to pick blueberries until the official picking is all done.

The cache is a bit larger than a liter cylinder.
