This hike will take you on an old abandoned road in SGL # 222. The trail is fairly level and if were not for all the fallen trees, it would be much easier. The scenery is quiet and serene and wildlife abounds. From a local resident, we were told this road was built in the 1920’s for a project that included building a dam on the stream and flooding the area. The project was never finished and the road lay abandoned ever since.
The cache site can be approached from either end of the road.

The cache is an ammo can. It contains the normal cache goodies.
