Cache on a Mission #2 - St. Mary's Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

leonata: I'm going to go ahead and let this cache go. I have had to replace it so many times over the years, and I just don't make it down the Bitterroot as often as I used to. I hate to have it sitting there disabled for 6 months out of every year. It's really not fair to the local cachers!

Geocache Description:

Located adjacent to historic St. Mary's Mission in Stevensville, Montana.

The second in a series of caches located near some of the many historic missions in northwest United States.

Please bring a pen or pencil to sign the logbook. The container is too small to hold its own.

Intended as a way to bring this wonderful location to the attention of more travellers, the real find is the mission itself. Take the time to enjoy the history, architecture, and art.

Note: This cache is near, but not on, church grounds. There is no need to disturb any of the historic buildings or artifacts while searching for the container.
