Geocache Description:

This should be an easy hike. It was placed for the 2003 pot-luck-cache-in-trash out picnic (which by the way, was a wonderful event with perfect weather and great food and company) but now will hopefully be a permanent fixture of the park.

Cache is an ammo can. On the inside of the lid are the coordinates for a bonus cache.

Park by the ponds, and there is a trail head right there. NE state park permit required, however, parking at Aksarban Aquarium does not require sticker, and is only a couple hundred yards from the trail head. While at this park, be sure to look around. There are LOTS of very interesting things here. Spring fed canyon ponds, with large trout (no you can not fish for them :) There are also lots of ducks, geese, turkeys, and plenty of deer. A suspension bridge can be found here (deep in the back of the park, and kids love it). Enjoy yourself here. Stop by the aquarium if and say "Hi" if you have a chance.
