Geocache Description:

We found this cemetary awhile back . There is no name for the cemetary. It is a old one, but they are still using it for new burials. It is very small out in the desert in the middle of nowhere. If anyone has information about it could you please email. I know its very interesting in the back of the cemetary. We are still trying to figuire out if it is pets and children. As you head towards cottwood Cove look for the powerline road. It will be a dirt road you drive maybe half a mile.

Happy face plastic container wrapped in a ziploc bag. In it is WG $ 1.00 bill.Bounce ball. Key ring American Fence Co.Mini phillips srewdriver. Mini srewdriver.Money clip.Bottle opener.Alien. Whistle Pop. Someone did email me. The cemetery that a dog built..... The cemetery near Searchlight on the powerline road in called the Tobey Barnes Cemetery. Tobey had a beloved dog named "Ring", he buried Ring there. When Tobey died he wanted to be buried next to his beloved dog. Thus started a cemetery where people could be buried near their pets! There used to be a sign on the road, I think they removed it in the mid 80's. The cemetery is before the National Park Service boundary.... it must be on BLM land. I'm just guessing. There is also a grave their for Max Sterling, he was known in Searchlight as "Miserable Max". I lived in Cottonwood Cove from 1974-1981, my father was a park ranger there.... that is how I know the history.
