This is a traditional cache with a short walk from the parking area at the boardwalk. In a park located in the Turkey Creek Community.Park hours are 6AM to 7PM
Edward Medard Park, formerly known as Pleasant Grove, is a 1,105 acre park with a 770 acre reservoir operated by the Southwest Florida Water Management District. The reservoir is one of the most popular freshwater fishing spots in Hillsborough County, and the improved boat launching facilities easily handle the flurry of county anglers. With a daily limit of 3 fish and a 15-24inch slot release. Medard also includes camping, swimming, picnic areas, horse trails, and fishing pier/boardwalk that leads to an observation tower on a small island within the reservoir.
With the heavy tree cover the cords might be off some.
The cache container is a Rubbermaid storage box 16x10.75x7. Loaded with fishing stuff of all kinds.
