Where's Tripper?
Posted coordinates above are for Little Lake in Peterborough and are NOT THE LOCATION of the actual geocache.
This is a multi-waypoint cache. We have provided you with 2 pictures (yeah only 2, we made it easy for you this time). The location of each picture is a waypoint for which you will have to find precise coordinates. When these 2 waypoints are projected at a bearing of 358 and 166 degrees True North, they will cross. (Note that you will have to decide which bearing goes with which picture.) The location of the geocache is at the point where these 2 lines intersect.

Both of the waypoints should be easy to find -- especially by residents of the Peterborough area. If you're not familiar with the area feel free to ask one of the locals, they're really friendly folk. Both of these waypoints, and the cache, are at interesting and pleasant locations -- pack a lunch and have a picnic.
Now get up and GOoooooo! AND a big 2 thumbs up if you do all the work with just your GPSr!!!
Please be VERY careful to leave the cache exactly as you found it AND feel free to add additional cover if necessary. ALSO, be very careful not to draw attention to yourself when retrieving it (you'll see what we mean when you get there). We wouldn't want the cache to go missing in action. Thank you.
Finally, please do not include any spoilers in your logs. Unfortunately, logs with spoilers (such as a picture or description that provides extra clues) will have to be deleted immediately.
Ciao,
TRIPPER & fam.
NOTES:
- Very family friendly.
- Winter and night raid friendly.
- How To Do This Cache with just your GPSr:
From the first waypoint/photo location, project a new waypoint (call it waypoint X) a distance of 5km using the appropriate bearing (either 358 or 166 degrees True North). Then do the same with the second waypoint/photo location (call it waypoint Y) using the other bearing provided. Create a route going from waypoint 1 to waypoint X to waypoint Y to waypoint 2. The leg from waypoint 1 to waypoint X will cross the leg from waypoint 2 to waypoint Y. Now on your GPSr, find the intersection point of these 2 lines. On your graphic display of this route, using the largest magnification possible, create waypoint 3 (the cache location) at the point of intersection. Go to waypoint 3 and claim your prize.
- Geocache is in a small peanut butter container. Camouflaged of course.
- This one really isn't very difficult. However our next edition of 'Where's Tripper?' will be much much harder. Consider this one a warm up.
Boooo!! Thank you Binthair for the concept. This one isn't nearly as evil as 'Where am I?' but stay tuned....
