A lovely location on Illinois DNR property near Galena.
Bring your hiking boots!! Look for this cache after a short but relatively strenuous climb on Illinois DNR property. There is parking at 42 12.044, 090 12.437 and the search will take you through land on which wild turkey, deer and birds will be seen easily. Look as well at the interesting rock formations and forest surrounded prairies. After you locate the cache, follow the trail further for some lovely hiking. The cache is a tupperware container with a blue lid and contains lots of booty and a log. Please close the container tightly and cover it a bit with leaves when you depart.
