This cache has been archived.

Keystone: A lot of time has passed since my prior notes to the cache owner, beginning late last year. At this time I am archiving the cache in case someone else is interested in placing a cache in this area.

Geocache Description:

Canaan Mountain off Canaan Loop Road at the end of Table Rock Trail.(The Canaan Heights entrance is the best way to go.)

The Table Rock Trail is only about 1.2 miles long and it is not a hard hike, although places in the trail are wet and muddy year round as this area receives an average annual rainfall of about 50".

Following the trail to the overlook will give you a beautiful view of Mozark Mountain(to the east)and it overlooks Red Run. Here you will also find my cache.

This is the first cache in this area and Table Rock is as good a place as any to start.

The cache is well hidden(not visible)at the base of a pine tree and covered with leaves and a large piece of birch bark.

This area is visited a lot and you may have to enjoy the view for a while before you are able to grab the cache..... if people are on the cliff. Please use discretion and be sure to cover it well before you leave.
