Geocache Description:

Very family friendly walk to this cache. Feel free to bring the young'uns, both human and canine.

In case you can't tell from the name of this cache, we LOVE our dogs. We have a Westie (West Highland Terrier) and a Jack (Russel Terrier). They simply love caching, so much they make a point of 'marking' the trails we follow (and sometimes blaze) so we dont' get lost - sort of like Hansel and Gretel except they don't use bread crumbs. They also love us. Anyone who tells a dog lover like us that dogs "respond instinctively to stimuli" rather than emotionally have never seen one of ours smile! So here's to Connor and Scout, and all the faithful companions who've blessed our lives.

Now to the nitty gritty you've all been waiting for. Parking is available in the vicinity of N 43 07.544 and W 76 14.986. Area is a comfortable little spot for an outing with the family. The cache is an ammo can which contains puppy items, not for the dogs, but about the dogs; such as a Pet Week magnet, chapter book, Westie figurine, etc. This is being placed on Rebs birthday in honor of our four legged joys.
