Cache is located at the I-94 rest stop about 20 miles West of Glendive. The terrain is totally flat but requires a few steps of bushwacking right before the cache. It should be easy to find but you will need to be careful of geo-muggle observers.
This cache is being maintained by Star_Fire, but was placed by Red hot mama who liked the site for two reasons: 1) it is accessed by people going both East and West and 2) there are places to hide a cache a reasonable distance away from the restrooms. The cache container is a small clear tupperware. It is too small for a pencil or pen so you will need to bring your own writing instrument. It's large enough for a log and a FEW small cache items. It is best to park at the far end of the parking area, as close to the cache as possible and as far away as possible from the rest rooms in order to avoid being observed finding the cache. She wants people to find this cache so the hint will tell you exactly where it is. BE VERY CAREFUL OF YOUR EYES. The search is a WEE bit THORNY. If the cache disappears it will be because there are many little chipmunks with holes around this area, and they could be cache robbers. She couldn't believe the amount of personal trash left in this field on the opposite side of the restrooms. This rest area is open year around. You would think people would use the restrooms. She did put on gloves and grabbed a garbage bag and at least cleaned up around the cache area. CACHE IN TRASH OUT!!! Enjoy a rest and the cache and Happy Traveling.
