This is an easy walk through mixed woodland at the site of an Iron Age hill fort.
***** Please note the so-ordinates have changed since 16-7-05. The original site was trashed and the cache has been re-located at a new spot not too far away. *****
There are several parking laybys at and close to N50 55.228 W001 19.900. Most of the walk is on gravel tracks and there are a couple of picnic bench sites on route.
I have seen deer on the far side of the wood which in the spring is full of bluebells. For cricket fans, free views of county matches may be be had from close to the cache.
Go to a crossing of paths at the above co-ordinates, just about the nearest to the cache that I could get a signal. Then take 35 strides norht east.
