cache idea is to highlight the Holyoke Heritage State Park at 221 Appleton Street, which is Route 141.parking lot is right across street from police station.
cache is a level, short,.13 mile, walk from park.
Could not find a suitable spot for cache in park but found one nearby in what I think is a interesting spot in sight of the park. at the park is the merry go round from the old Mountain Park. you can ride it Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 for $1.00. there is a Children's museum and the Volley ball Hall of Fame plus some railroad cars. train will not be running this year. visitors center is not open on Monday. no exchanging needed, just sign log book.
