Trashman's Coming! Traditional Cache
Rattlingcrew: Thanks for the note! I was just out there and they have cut the hiding trees away, moved the fence line and really cleaned up the area. I would imagine my mortar tube got shredded with the rest of the evergreens. Glen

Nice easy find, nothing tough about this one.
You are looking for an OD green plastic mortar tube, 3.5" in diameter and 21" long with a screw on lid. The original contents were a large waterball in the lid, 4 mini waterballs, 4 Hot Wheels, 1 mini Coleman, and 2 policeman prayers. The usual ink pen, pencils, logbook and Geo-Caching Sheet included. The cache is placed on Cuty Property. The odor that is really obnoxious from the southwest in moist times is the old Hog Farm. This shelter belt is loaded with wildlife. Drive west and turn south on the all-weather road. That bunch of trees on the east side of the roadway is the old Camp Phillips, a WW2 prisoner of war camp. The camp was sold to private owners and they have just let it go to waste, years ago we used to sneak in and hunt squrrels and rabbits here, occasionally quail. Now it is heavily posted. I wanted to place a cache within the camp as it is still interesting, I need to find the owner for permission. Just to the southwest you will find the Smoky Hill Bombing Range, 50 square miles of Government land that has been abused from the air! Be safe as always and have fun! When returning the cache to the hide, keep it low and smack it a good one to reset it.
