Geocache Description:

HAIRY TROTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHERS LUNCHBOX

Many centuries ago the four founding wizards of the Hogwash School of Wizardry were worried that their greatest treasures would be plundered by the non-believing Geomuggles. They decided to hide their treasure in the Forbidden Forest, guarded by their old friend, Boris the Spider. The wizards told no-one of the hiding place for fear of it being discovered, and took the secret to their graves. The school headmaster, Professor Bumblingbore, has asked Hairy Trotter to seek out the hidden treasure before the evil Lord Vulgarmouth can get his hands on it. Professor Bumblingbore found out that each of the 4 wizards left a small part of a number spell in the grounds of the Church where they were buried. You must find the 4 parts of the number spell and put it together so that you can discover the treasures of the Philosophers Lunchbox.

The co-ordinates above will take you to the church grounds. From here you can explore the area around the Church to get the 4 parts of the spell. Once you have all 4 parts, put them into your magic wand (known as a GPS in modern times) and it will lead you to the Philosophers Lunchbox.

Spell Part 1
As you enter the grounds from the front, you will not be far from where the wizard Gilbert Givinmore hid his secret. At the western end of the church yard lies a beloved wife, Sarah Susanna. She died on May 11th in the year 189H. She was 4A years old when she passed away.

Spell Part 2
The wise wizard Holly Huffnpuff buried her secret at the very edge of the graveyard to the North West. There you will see the burial stone of Fanny Gazeley who died on December E 1900 aged CK years.

Spell Part 3
The great wizard Ribena Razerclaw entrusted her secret to William Smith Cowper who lies at the Eastern end of the church grounds. He died in Southsea in May 1G05 at the age of B3 years.

Spell Part 4
Shalamar Shimmerin also picked the Eastern end of the church yard to bury his secret. It is revealed on the headstone of John Bonner who passed away on May F1 189D. He was J0 years of age.

The Philosophers Lunchbox can be found by using the spell as follows:

N51° A B . C D E
W 0° F G . H J K

When you enter the Forbidden Forest, which is a short walk away,  you will see that the wizards have cast some spells to protect their secret. One of these is the Leavius Abundance, which causes the many trees to interfere with your magic wand. Another spell that they used was the Nettleus Stinguslots -becareful around plants that are affected by this one! The Philosophers Lunchbox is hidden close to a source of great power.

The Philosophers Lunchbox contains a good selection of treasures suitable for both young and old wizards alike. Have fun, and good luck!
