Wascana creek hideaway Traditional Cache

The low health score on this cache has remained below 60 since our last contact. I see no sign of any maintenance being done to correct this and I have had no response from the owner since my last contact. Due to the lack of response I have no idea if any corrective action has been taken. Consequently I am archiving the cache at this time. Under directions from HQ, if the cache was archived for maintenance issues, it will not be unarchived. If you wish to replace it you will have to do so with a new listing.

This cache can is accessible by vehicle and a short walk, or for more adventure, an easy canoe trip up the creek about 2-3 hours.
There are two ways to find this cache.
1 - To add adventure to the hike, a short canoe trip is the best way to find this cache. Your canoe can be launched before entering the Sherwood Park golf course area. It is a great little paddle with the current, over some very minor rapids. The scenery is very good for the Prairies as you are right in the bottom of the Valley the whole time. You can definately paddle all the way providing the water level is up. The river (creek) seems to be 1 - 4 feet deep all the way. If the water level is low, you may have to pull the canoe over a couple of sand bars / rocks. The trip should be close to 3 hours.
2 - A short drive out of the city to the Wascana valley will provide a nice afternoon getaway. You will have to go onto a gravel road, normally in excellent condition. Keep in mind the cache is available by canoe via Wascana creek, so a very very short hike off the road and down a hill is required.
The cache is a large Peanut Butter container with red tape around it. It contains a Watch, yo-yo, toy truck, golf tees, fish hooks, a pin, Turbo car, sticker, a roll of tape, a pencil and a log book.
