Geocache Description:

7/15/13 NOTE - I'VE HAD THIS CACHE FOR 10 YEARS, BUT IT IS TIME. THIS CACHE IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - SEND ME AN EMAIL IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BECOME THE NEW OWNER:

Rising majestically above the valley floor, Bald Hill is a towering 740+ feet. Okay, so it's not that tall compared to other NW mountains, but this is a great 2 mile hike with 500 foot approx elevation change.

The Stick It Up cache is located on the top of Bald Hill. This park has multiple uses, there is a paved trail for walkers, a horse trail, mountain bike trails, and off leash trails. There are many ways to get up there, but my favorite is to park at:

44.34.567
123.19.579

Take the paved trail until you see the barn. Take a right off the paved trail and then an immediate left. This is the horse trail. Follow the horse trail to the top if you dare or it isn't muddy (it can be very very muddy when wet)for a good short, steep climb to the top. Or you can go about 20 more yards west from the barn and take the paved trail to your left (that splits off the main trail) and follow a winding easier walk through the trees which switches back and forth to top. This is a well maintained trail.

At the top, you'll find a bench that you can rest on while you do some calculating. You will also see two survey marks. One is on top of a pole, the other is in the ground in front of the bench. It is marked Bald #3, you will only find two, as Mark #1 was destroyed a number of years ago. Next to the bench is a rock, on the rock is a plague commorating the dedication of the park.

Ball Hill Park was donated by Kenneth M. Coon and Family. It consists of AB acres and was donated in CDEF.

Take these dates and plug them into the following coordinates:

44.33.DCA
123.2B.C22

Using these coordinates, you should find a small plastic container with a blue lid. Inside you will find some goodies to be traded.

Please replace in the exact same place and cover.
