Hike up crumbly volcanic rock. Some exposure and rock scrambling. Gloves recommended.
This is a distinct shaped mountain in the McCullough Mountain Range. It is to the east of Black Mountain. It is composed of very sharp and crumbly volcanic material. It has a very rounded top and steep sides and reminds me of a pile of manure.
I have tried three times to reach the top. This time I was 300 feet horizontal and 80 feet vertical from the top. It did not look safe to go higher. A Small cave used by a large number of sheep convinced me that if the sheep don't want to go higher maybe I shouldn't. For someone 40 years younger climbing this should be no problem.
Cache is in a plastic jar in a very small cave near the sheep bedroom.

There is a 4WD road close to here. I walked in from Poetry Drive in Henderson (35 58.320 115 4.34)
