This paved trail is part of the Sonoma County West County Trail system. There are several access points, but parking is available for a couple of cars at 38 N 24.787 and 122 W 50.571
There are other access points and other places to park for this trail, but the coordinates listed above will offer easy access to this cache and Off Road cache as well.
Rooster's Crow Cache is aptly named, as you will find out as you approach the area, unless you cache in the dark. About a half mile will take you to the cache from the parking listed above and just far enough off Gravenstein Hwy (Hwy 116) that you get a taste of being in a peaceful country setting - or maybe not so peaceful with the rosters in full force!
Strollers, wheelchairs, dogs on a leash, horses and bicycles are welcome on this path and will have no problem reaching the cache site. It is a small Rubbermaid container, with just the lid camoflaged to blend in the area and filled with little things - so think small when it comes to trade items. No moving rocks or wood required to uncover this cache.
