Geocache Description:

Near the Union Arch Bridge, the world's largest single arch masonry bridge built in 1857 by the US Army.

This area was once part of a vital piece of Washington infrastructure, now long-defunct.

Follow the man-made terrain features in this area and see if you can figure it out. Walk in the tracks of time and history.

A surviving structure can be found at: N 38 58.336, W 077 08.710.

Can you guess what it is that was here? Its successor lies deep underground.
