Geocache Description:

Almost a drive-to cache located west of Nanton along Highway 533. After a short uphill climb, it affords a vista of some of Alberta’s classical rangeland. Stop and take it in. The original road (before the pavement) was located up higher and to the south of the cache.

Photos, rain or shine, snow or sleet, sunrise or sunset, blizzard or balm are welcome, as long as they are not spoilers. Park at a turnout at N50° 15.070 W114° 02.159. Please take due care and caution crossing the road. Rainy days may increase the difficulty of terrain. The direct approach is probably the hardest approach, try a switch-back maneuver.

Cache is in a good-sized can with logbook, pencils, sharpener, cache note, the finders’ cards (who will claim the “First to the Cache”?), a Smiley Rangeland Dude (compliments j2d2’s Ole Buck), and various and sundry exchange items.

Please re-hide the cache carefully. Thanks.

Happy hunting and enjoy.
