This virtual cache is actually a connection of five historical or other points of interest found in the upper Ogden Valley, one of the pretiest mountain valleys in Utah. Take an afternoon and enjoy the drive. The area can also be covered in 30-45 minutes if you are short on time.
Tour stop #1 A sweet retreat
As a kid we use to come up here quite often in the summer. The surroundings seemed a bit different to me but I enjoyed the honey and bread. Take some time to go in and look around, this is an interesting retreat and a beautiful and peaceful place to contemplate the many blessings we enjoy. Before you leave don't forget to pick up some of the famous honey and bread to enjoy on the rest of the valley tour. What year was this retreat established?
Tour Stop #2 A famous resident N 41 15.695, W 111 45.940
This is the home site of a very well known and much loved LDS church leader and upper valley resident. The family who owns the house now provides tours in the summer from June 1st through Sept, 1st from 1-4. What is the name on the front of the house?
Tour Stop #3 Granny Smith N 41 15.630, W 111 46.189
This marker memorializes one of the many women who contributed to the growth (quite literally) of the valley. How many birthdays was she invited to? When your done here go a little further down the street to the Shooting Star where you'll find the absolute best onion burgers in the world at the oldest continually operating bar in the state. You can spend hours just reading the graffiti and looking at the souvenirs on the wall. Don't forget to check out the bathrooms and if you feel inspired, leave a verse or two.

There are many hiking and biking trails in the upper valley; this is one of the most scenic rides for viewing a wide variety of the wild life that live in the area. What bird of prey is listed on the plaque at the beginning of the trailhead?
Tour Stop #5 Give me liberty or.. N 41 20.003, W 111 51.824
The pioneer settlers were far from the first to call this valley home. What did the earlier residents refer to this valley as? While your in the valley you may want to look for 7 peeps cache it's not to far from here and it's an easy walk to get to.
When leaving the valley take the North Ogden divide road for a scenic alpine drive and several other caches placed near the top of the pass.
