Geocache Description:

Nice walking trail (1 - 2 km)out along a coastal finger shaped "head", beyond the Keltic Lodge. Easy to follow path with some roots and rocks and elevation changes. Mostly flat walking, but a section that goes down then up.

This trail has a shorter 1 km loop if you just want a short walk, but you will have to do the 2km walk if you want to get the the outer point and the cache!

The extra walk takes you through a small meadow where ancient fishermen had a small village, and then out to some very spectacular ocean side cliffs. Keeps young children safe, some of the edges are shear without any fences(see photos).
Erosion has made the roots and rocks more challenging than 10 years ago when it was put in place.

In season, you may see lobster fishermen tending their lobster traps in nearby boats.

The cache container was replaced with a normal sized container again (Sept 2018) (The previous ammo can rusted out)It is located such that you won't have to be hard on the environment. Please DO NOT destroy the many dwarf trees in the area while you are looking. It should be quite visible if you keep your head very low WITHOUT tearing the place apart.
