Nice little park and fishing area with tables, BBQ pits, parking, and trail. No fishing April, May, June. Be careful turning off the highway; there are many gravel trucks parked and moving near the park entrance.
Cache is a small white bison tube. My deepest thanks to Bamboozle who originally placed "Bogue Baby" here three years previously and lovingly maintained it. NOTE: I upgraded Bogue Baby's terrain and difficulty ratings. Some history:
Tragically, Katrina was not kind to Bogue Baby. The original container and log, as well as some of the goodies, were waterlogged beyond retrieval. Bamboozle archived and retired Bogue Baby, and most kindly allowed me to adopt it. Katrina and subsequent storms left many downed trees which make the hike off the path impossible for wheelchairs. Those Bogue Baby goodies which survived the waterlogging were transferred to a new container with a new log 3/18/2006:

Cache was muggled early in 2008, replaced and reactivated nearby on 24 Jan. 2009. Terrain is now a bit higher-rated. Cache re-muggled by Mother Nature in 2012/2013 and replaced and reactivated on 25 Mar. 2013, again in Jan. 2019, and again in 2020 and 2021. It’s a micro now.
