Geocache Description:


I lived in Priest River a few years ago, and came up to this site to watch the fireworks on the fourth. From the top I was able to watch them in CDA, Spirit Lake, Laclede, and a few other places all at the same time. You can see CDA lake, Spirit lake, Blanchard lake, Pend Oreille lake, and some other smaller lakes in the area. You can also see the back side of Mt. Spokane, Rathdrum Mnt., Round Mnt., and several others. I guess you could say it is a pretty good view from here. The road is pretty good to the top, but somewhat rutted out in spots. The road to the top leaves the main one on Hoodoo at 48 03.975 116 55.741. The cache is a little off the top, and requires a little scramble down the hill, but shouldn't be too hard to find. Look at the photos for help if you need it.
