Cruz Grande is a narrow pass-thru in the road from the south to the center of the island, Roque Nublo, Las Nieves etc. The cacheplace gives a magnificent panoramic view!
Park your car at Cruz Grande: N 27 55.785 , W 015 35.871 , elevation: 1254m.
Then start your search at the CAMINO DE SANTIAGO, LA PLATA: a truly magnificent camino real, hundreds of years old and -fortunately- not restored.
It should take you about 15 minutes and some sweat to the cacheplace at elevation: 1338m.
A few minutes before the cacheplace you'll experience the first panoramic view!
If you really want to experience the grandeur of oldtimes caminobuilding, do not hesitate to walk on further on the camino for about 45-60 minutes. You must have seen and done it !! Don't forget drinks and proper shoes.
In the cache we placed the Broken Heart travel bug. Take good care of it!
